How can I stop emails going into my spam folder?
To prevent you receiving unwanted spam email, some Internet Service Providers (ISP's) block messages from senders whose email addresses are not in the recipient's Address Book or on their Safe Senders List.
To ensure your Clixell messages reach you in the future please add our email address to your Address Book or Safe Senders List.
We have provided instructions on how to do this for the most commonly used ISPs:
Hotmail / MSN mail
- Once signed in, click ‘Options’ in the top right of your screen.
- On the left side of the page, click Mail, and then click Junk E-Mail Protection. Select the "Contacts" tab.
- Click on "Safe List"
- Type in the "type an address or domain” name:" box, and then click ‘Add’.
GMail
- From your Gmail inbox, open our email you have received
- Click on "More Options"
- Click on "Add sender to contacts"

Yahoo Mail
- Open your Yahoo mailbox.
- Click Options (top right).
- Click Filters.
- Next, click Add Filter.
- In the top row, labeled From header:, make sure contains is selected in the pull-down menu.
- Click in the text box next to that pull-down menu, then enter the address news.clixell.net
- At the bottom, where it says Move the message to, select Inbox from the pull-down menu.
- Click the Add Filter button again.
AOL9.0:
- Click the "Spam Controls" link (lower right area of your inbox).
- When the "Mail & Spam Controls" box appears, click "Custom sender list".
- Choose "allow email from " option
- Add the domain 'news.clixell.net'
- Click "Add", then "Save".
AOL 7 & 8:
- Go to Keyword Mail Controls.
- Select the screen name you are using to receive email.
- Click "Customize Mail Controls For This Screen Name."
- For AOL version 7.0: In the section for "exclusion and inclusion parameters", include the following domain: '* @news.clixell.net'
- For AOL version 8.0: Select "Allow email from all AOL members, email addresses and domains."
- Click on "Next" until the "Save" button shows up at the bottom.
- Click "Save."
For Outlook 2003
- Right click on the email subject line.
- Choose "Add Sender To Address Book".
